The Upper Room: John 14:1-14 - Pastor Jason Foreman
In this message from the series "The Upper Room," Pastor Jason explores John 14:1-14 (ESV) to address how we can cope with the hard realities of our world. The central theme of this message is that the antidote for a troubled heart is faith in Jesus.
Walking through the text, the sermon outlines four main ways we can see this faith worked out in our lives:
We have a sure hope of being in God's physical presence for eternity. We have a relationship with the Way, not just knowledge of a way. We have the comfort of knowing God intimately even here on earth. We have the joy of participating in kingdom work.

On the night before His crucifixion, Jesus spent His final hours not thinking of Himself, but of those He loved. He washed weary feet, comforted troubled hearts, promised the Holy Spirit, prepared His followers for suffering, prayed for their faith, and prayed even for us.
In this 12-week journey through John 13–17, we'll see the love of Christ displayed in remarkable ways, and discover how His love continues to shape and sustain His people today.
